Silicon Instinct is a rising rock band from Tallinn, Estonia, formed in 2024 and fuelled by a shared conviction that modern rock has drifted too far from its roots. The four-piece—driven by fast, heavy riffs, darker moods and flashes of youthful pop—refers to its sound as RDM: rock dance music. While today’s mainstream melodies often feel diluted, Silicon Instinct leans into the grit, energy and authenticity that made classic rock unforgettable, shaping it into something bold and fresh for a new generation.

From the start, the band committed to creating everything in-house. Their songs are written, recorded, mixed and mastered by the members themselves, resulting in a raw, personal sound that stands out in Estonia’s growing alternative scene. Every release comes paired with original handcrafted artwork, painted in oil or acrylic by Jornas or Armand—turning each single, EP or album into a collectible piece of visual art rather than just another merch item.

The band’s first year, 2024, was dedicated to building synergy and crafting a cohesive live identity. By the end of the year, Silicon Instinct had completed a 45-minute set and played three live shows.

 

2025 marked a breakthrough: the release of their first three singles, the expansion to a 60-minute live program, and more concerts in Estonia. With additional singles already in production and work progressing on their debut album, the momentum is only increasing.
